well...been to my first afl match...
sydney vs adelaide...sydney lost by 7 points...not bad considering they couldnt kick goals unless you paid them....oh thats right...they get paid...sydneys goalkicking sucks at times...if they can get this worked out by finals time it'll be premiership tine...according to crows fans i overheard, the swans played much better than adelaide but couldnt kick straight...something which i'd have to agree with...
45600 something people were there...i'd say maybe 100-200 were swans fans...well...thats what it seemed like...they made a lot of noise...its daunting knowing when swans kick a goal that if you jump up and start cheering you'll have a coupla hundred people turn around and glare at you...
some comments i recieved while wearing a swans cap, scarf and badge...

(to which i replied ive been going for them for 10 years and i dont really know why...)

some guy made a hocking noise towards me...
then the funniest one...
after the game...walking through a sea of red, blue and yellow...some crows fans were singling out swans supporters for ridicule...
one swans fan replied "you'll choke in the finals"
when i walked past in my red and white scarf and cap...
they called..."wheres wally...THERE HE IS!!!" which caused everyone to turn and look at me...i just smiled...
i didnt get beaten up...although i chose a cubicle instead of standing at the urinal for fear of being pushed in the back...
i would also like to point out that crows fans are the worst fans ive ever known...except the guys whos members tickets we borrowed...
it was good though...i didnt really expect sydney to win although they nearly did...if they play the crows again in the finals i would say it'll be a different outcome...according to commentators...
i would have preferred to sit in front of the crows coaching box with a flag...

i'd like to see you go to a footy match where 45500 people are cheering for the other side...
i thought i've made it perfectly clear im willing to stand up for myself recently...
